Implementing a secure network architecture into an OT environment can seem daunting, but it doesn’t have to be!  In this session we’ll analyze real world OT network architectures and discuss how we can redesign them using simple techniques to improve security as well as facility uptime.  We’ll take a look at how small changes can make a big impact on facility resiliency for both greenfield and brownfield installations. Several examples will be analyzed to include some of the most common DCS and SCADA platforms seen in industry.  We’ll tackle common challenges, how to approach the solution, who should be involved, and how to communicate the benefits of investing in OT cybersecurity within your environment.
